Materials include pamphlets, broadsides, and poetry booklets, as well as the first printing from the press, "Specimen of Printing Types barely available at Trinity Closet Press" (1973).

Historical note

Trinity Closet Press was a hand press run by Trinity College Library's Department of Early Printed Books. Founded in 1973 by M. (Mary) Pollard, the Press served as a teaching tool giving students and staff first-hand experience in book production methods in the hand-press period. The Press was housed in the basement of the Printing House at Trinity College and ceased operations in 1995.
