Biographical note
Charles F. Donovan, SJ was a 1933 Boston College alumnus who served as the founding dean of the School of Education from 1952-1965. Prior to his death in 1998 at age 86, Donovan also held senior leadership positions including Academic Vice President (Provost), Senior Vice President, and University Historian.
