Scope and Contents
These official records of the American Conference for Irish Studies document the organization’s growth and continued operation over the years. Included are the constitution and by-laws, correspondence of the officers, meeting programs and minutes for the executive committee, and membership information. Conference materials included planning materials, as well as media related to events held by ACIS. Reports document the work of the treasurer, as well as that of the general membership. Publications consist of the organization’s newsletter and updates to Guide to Irish Studies, a volume that provides information on Irish Studies programs in North America compiled by ACIS. The records also include materials related to the regional sections, including annual meetings and newsletters.
