Correspondence, research materials, and drafts relating to Bernice Lemire's Boston College master's degree thesis about Jack Kerouac's early life. Lemire's work was the only Kerouac biography written with his input; notably, his contributions are in the collection. Additionally, correspondence and interviews with other individuals who knew Kerouac, correspondence with publisher Robert Giroux, and other research materials are included.
