A speech by the interim viceroy of Peru, Miguel Nuñez de Sanabria, welcoming the incoming viceroy Diego Ladrón de Guevara, upon his arrival, and enumerating donations, including an enslaved person, to the Society of Jesus.

The collection contains correspondence, legal documents, and genealogical information pertaining to the Isaac Plumb family and their relatives, the Cooks and Grants. Of note are letters from Isaac Plumb, Jr. during his time as a Union soldier in the American Civil War.

The collection consists of a letter from Grace Gifford Plunkett to her fiancé Joseph M. Plunkett while he recovered from surgery at a nursing home in Dublin, Ireland, two nights before the Easter Rising. Also included is a newspaper clipping from 1966 discussing the letter.

The typescript is the forward to the anthology English Romantic Poets published in 1933 and contains handwritten corrections.

Ed Price's collection of writings by detective fiction author Rex Stout contains clippings of articles, novellas, and short stories, often published serially. The collection also includes promotional materials from movies and television shows based on Stout’s novels, and a menu and shirt from the Wolfe Pack, a Nero Wolfe literary society.

Manuscript in a bound journal with handwritten descriptions of the science and mathematics faculty members of the Université de Paris. The accounts largely describe physical characteristics and speaking styles of the faculty members. It also includes several pages with notes from specific lectures. The author of the manuscript is unknown.

Six photographs from the Quadricentennial Celebration of St. Francis Xavier's Arrival in Japan observed in Nagasaki, Japan. The collection also includes photographs of Xavier Castle (Navarre, Spain), the remains of the Jesuit Church and Rectory in Hiroshima after the dropping of the atomic bomb, the rebuilt Jesuit Rectory in Hiroshima and, the monument to St. Francis Xavier in Yamagughi, Japan.

Two notebooks with entries from an agriculture course or textbook from 1843. One notebook written by George Smith and the other by John Chisom. George Smith's notebook also has Questions on mensuration in it.

Consists of a fragment of a Harvard University leave of absence pass with Quincy's signature, a letter signed by Quincy to Frederic W. Lincoln, Jr., and a black-and-white engraved portrait of Quincy from 1889.

These papers document the work of scholar and Boston College English professor Maurice J. Quinlan. Includes correspondence, manuscripts, articles, class notes, research notes, and diaries. The majority of the papers pertain to eighteenth-century English literature.

Religious manuscript in Arabic. Bound manuscript of 684 window-mounted pages, written in ink on paper, with partially illuminated text and borders and marginal annotations in Persian written in a later hand.

Consists of mimeograph copies of typescripts of De Gratia Christi (third edition, 1951) and De Deo Creante et Elevante (1953) by German Jesuit theologian Karl Rahner, accompanied by a letter from John D. Gerkin to Father John Foley commenting on them (1959).

Contains academic and professional materials, correspondence, and collected materials of early twentieth century American literature scholar and Boston College faculty member John H. Randall III.

This collection documents the religious and teaching career of Charles J. Reardon, SJ, military chaplain, Jesuit, and professor in the Theology Department at Boston College. The collection consists of sermons and prayers of the faithful, and teaching materials on marriage and sexuality. Materials are mostly typescripts and manuscripts.

Collection documents Roland J. Regan's service in the 348th Engineer Combat Battalion in the U.S. Army during World War II. It consists primarily of photographs taken by Regan in England, France, and Germany from 1943-1945. It also includes U.S. Army memorabilia, German military artifacts, Irish printed material and ephemera, and materials related to firefighting.

Collection is open for research. The Photographic Report of the Iwo Jima Operation in Box 1 is closed pending conservation review.
