The William James McGarry, SJ, President’s Office Records contain correspondence, photographs, financial statements, student applications, booklets, and ephemera documenting the work of William McGarry, SJ, eighteenth president of Boston College from 1937 to 1939.

Composed of correspondence, meeting minutes, memorabilia, publications and other items of Monan. Most of the material deals with administrative matters at Boston College. Also includes information on the Boston Citizen Seminars and Monan's work on behalf of the Boston Public Schools.

The W. G. Read Mullan, SJ, President's Office records contain correspondence, clippings, and publications documenting Mullan's administration as the eleventh president of Boston College. The bulk of material relates to the educational controversy surrounding Harvard University administration's view of the academic standards at Boston College in particular, and Jesuit schools in general. Also included are documents about Boston College buildings and land purchases.

The William J. Murphy, SJ, President’s Office Records contain correspondence, memos, student applications, contracts, notes, brochures, and pamphlets documenting Murphy's term as the nineteenth president of Boston College. Murphy's presidency coincided with World War II, and these records also document the war's effects on campus military programs and funding.

Consists of correspondence, manuscripts, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, account books, publications and other items relating to the history of the City of Boston. Includes records created by the Boston Police Department and other institutions, organizations, and committees.

Brendan Connolly, SJ was the Director of Libraries at Boston College from 1959-1974. The collection is composed of Connolly's collection of nine ancient coins, a necklace made up of two blue stones, and one trinket-sized ancient ram or goat figurine.

Twelve-page manuscript biography of Baltasar Piñas, written in ink on 3 bifolia. The docket title on the verso of the final leaf indicates the manuscript was remitted to Father Joseph Guimara. Dated at the head of page 1 "Muerte del P. Baltasar Piñas 2 abril 1612" and dated again "abril 22 1612" at the conclusion of the text on page 8. Most sources give 1611 as the year of Piñas's death. Signed: Fran[cisco de Villalva. Final two leaves are blank.

Leather-bound photograph album of the British royal family during the reign of King Edward VII. Also includes photographs of royal castles, palaces and other properties. The photographs include handwritten descriptions of each item. An emblem combining King Edward VII's initials and the motto of the Order of the Garter (Honi soit qui mal y pense) is embossed on the front cover.
