Consists of ten public lectures delivered by FitzGerald at Boston College while he was a visiting professor of politics in the Dept. of Irish Studies. The lectures cover various topics related to Anglo-Irish relations. Also includes theater programs from productions of Irish plays.

This collection documents 20th century American Jesuit moral theologian John C. Ford, SJ through materials kept by his sister, Margaret Ford Kieran. These include Ford's correspondence, medals, photographs, and typescripts, as well as clippings, condolences, obituaries, and prayer cards received by his sister after his death.

Materials collected and created by twentieth century peace activist and author Jim Forest for his biographies of Trappist monk Thomas Merton, including correspondence, manuscripts, and photographs.

The scrapbooks include newspaper clippings, brochures, programs, and correspondence related to Fortier's service to Boston College. The material documents his work as Dean of the Post Graduate School, the school's efforts to fund an endowed chair in the Philosophy Department, and Fortier's lectures on St. Joan of Arc.

These papers document the scholarly work of twentieth-century Boston College law professor and legal academic, Sanford J. Fox. The collection is composed of correspondence, event programs and agendas, research and notes, and typescripts. The bulk of the material relates to Fox's academic focus in juvenile law and his work internationally for children’s rights.

The collection documents the work of twentieth-century British novelist Pamela Frankau through her correspondence, manuscripts for eight of her novels, her autobiography, and a short story. Also included is a short biographical note about Frankau by Rebecca West, written for the introduction to Frankau's novel Colonel Blessington.

Button with caption "Free Ella Ellison" and black-and-white photograph of Ellison, a Black woman from Boston who was wrongfully convicted for alleged involvement in a 1973 armed robbery. Ellison's conviction was overturned in 1978.

Collection of materials accumulated by Samuel Freedman relating to Irish playwright Bernard Shaw. The collection includes correspondence; ephemera; manuscripts and publications; photographs; and play programs, primarly regarding Shaw and but also including some of his contemporaries.

This collection consists of letters to nineteenth-century philologist Frederick James Furnivall, primarily from American Shakespearean scholar Horace Howard Furness. Single letters from English scholar Joseph Hirst Lupton and George H. Radford are also included. Letters discuss literary matters, specifically Shakespearean prose, but also contain some personal asides.

These papers comprise the correspondence, honors, manuscripts, and schoolwork of American writer Brendan Galvin. The majority of his manuscripts are drafts of his poems, but they also include essays, short stories, and unpublished novels. Additionally, the papers contain articles and interviews about Galvin and reviews of his works, as well as his collected research materials.
