The collection consists of a bound manuscript and two letters all in Dunsany's hand. The manuscript contains thirty-four of Dunsany's poems and his play The Tent of the Arabs. The poems were originally written from 1917 through 1940 and largely relate to the subjects of the first and second World War. He presented the handwritten anthology to the Red Cross in 1940.

These papers document the life and career of author Eleanor Early, who was best known for her travel articles and books. Additional materials included her magazine quizzes; short stories; chapters for her advice book She Knew What He Wanted; and World War II era radio broadcast transcripts. Her papers also contain extensive photographs of her travels.

Bound manuscript of 76 pages, some of which are mutilated with loss of text. Earlier version of the catalog record gives the date of production as 1780 and identifies the scribe as Seaghan O'Domhail, however the basis for this attribution is unknown.

This collection contains two Portable Irish Harps by nineteenth century Irish harp maker John Egan.

Collection is open for research. Off-shelf viewing is by appointment, supervised by a staff member to ensure safe handling. The harps are too fragile to be strung at full tension, and therefore are not playable.

A collection of postcards collected by Michael Ehrmann from Massachusetts, Ireland, and Northern Ireland, depicting various historical and cultural sites, hotels, restaurants, recreational activities, and artwork.

Composed of official records of the Eire Society of Boston, including meeting minutes, correspondence, programs, publications, and financial records. In addition there are clippings, scrapbooks, and some photographs which relate to the society and its activities. While most of the material dates from the period after 1937, there are some collected artifacts and ephemera from the nineteenth century pertaining to Irish and Irish-American political figures.

These papers document the religious career of Gerald Ellard, a Jesuit who taught history and religion and was involved in the early stages of the liturgical reform and the Liturgical Conference. The bulk of the collection includes correspondence, typescripts and published material, and lecture materials dealing with various liturgy-related topics like the Mass and worship.

Collection consists of correspondence commending Irish revolutionary, soldier, and film producer Emmet Dalton, as well as accounts written by Dalton and others regarding Irish revolutionaries Michael Collins and Sean McKeon (Seán Mac Eoin). Newspaper editorials and official reports concerning nationalist politics in Ireland and the Irish Republican Army are also included.

Bound manuscript of 70 numbered pages, preceded by unnumbered title page, written in cursive script, apparently after the 1742 printed edition of this text, recounting the life of José (or Jospeh) Xavier de Molina, a Jesuit missionary who bore witness to the 1740 Yaqui rebellion in Sonora, Mexico. Includes a letter, "Carta de el P. Provincial Matheo Ansaldo, de la mesma compañía, a los superiores de su provincia de Mexico".

Correspondence between Boston University professor Jay Corrin and members of the English Catholic New Left movement, conducted as research for Corrin's book Catholic Progressives in England after Vatican II.

The collection consists primarily of correspondence between John and Peter Jorge and president Reverend Abbot Joseph Ilsley regarding the English College of Lisbon in the mid to late nineteenth century. Also included is a legal document in Portuguese related to power of attorney.

These ledgers document the work of J. D. Fallon & Son Funeral Home in Jamaica Plain, a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Funeral accounts include place of birth, parents' names, occupation, cause of death, place of internment, and details of the funeral arrangements for each of the deceased, many of whom were of Irish descent.

Papers of late-twentieth-century Irish poet Gerard Fanning, including correspondence, journals, poetry, and photographs. Notable are Fanning's poetry notebooks, which contain dated iterative drafts of his work throughout his career.

Papers of writer and Boston College alum, program director, and faculty member Marian St. Onge (1944-2021). Includes extensive research of World War II French resistance fighter and Catholic priest Louis Favre, as well as numerous drafts of St. Onge's unpublished manuscript on Favre. Also consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, notebooks, photograph reproductions, and publishing materials.
