Inscription on front pastedown reads: Commentaire manuscript par Jacob Comoleti philosophe sur la dialectique d'Aristote, octobre 1573.

Compendium of antiphons and prayers: manuscript

Scope and Contents

Bound manuscript of 54 pages comprising a collection of antiphons and prayers. The compiler has not been identified. The first section includes the incipits of antiphons listed in order of feast days, with mensural notation in red and black. The second section includes a selection of Eucharistic prayers. Primarily written in a humanist miniscule book hand, interspersed with paratexts in two or more cursive hands.

Scope and Contents Comprised of a variety of Jesuit and Jesuit influenced texts, including early exercises, Jesuit rules, and unknown Jesuit texts. Work 5 contains 65 rules, as did the original Reglas comunes created in 1551. Work 10 contains 11 rules for Jesuit students, as does the Ratio studiorum (Munich, 1600), with textual variations. Scope and Contents Bound volume of 16th and 17th-century Jesuit writings copied in manuscript by an anonymous compiler in the late 17th or early 18th century. Includes excerpts from early histories of the Jesuits, and correspondence, dating from 1534 to 1577. The volume concludes with Francis Xavier's sonnet "No me mueve, mi Dios, para quererte" followed by two translations by Sforza Pallavicino and by Rutilio Xirotta.
